I recently took and passed the FAA part 107 certificate test for small unmanned aircraft systems (drones). I now have my temporary certificate which allows me to fly drones commercially. However, given the significant hazards presented if manned and unmanned aircraft collide, and that there is a practical training and hours of experience portion for manned aircraft, I wonder if a knowledge only test is enough for drones. What are your thoughts?
Is a knowledge only test for the FAA part 107 sufficient for safe drone operations?
